What is GAMMA Expo?

GAMMA Expo is an all ages event and as such there is strong interest in GAMMA Expo from a very wide range of demographics from children as young as 5 years old, teenagers, young adults and even adults 30+ both male and female alike. GAMMA Expo is an all inclusive event with strong emphasis on accessibility to everyone. GAMMA Expo is also an all ages event, however there will be content rated over G and PG for certain activities and events over the course of the exhibition. GAMMA Expo will not exceed an R rating on any content.

GAMMA provides pop culture content designed to appeal to a wide audiences. GAMMA's aim is to provide an event that promotes and embraces popular culture including Japanese animation, videogames, movies, books, comics, tabletop gaming and art. GAMMA has three main branches in which we structure our event around; entertainment, industry and education. There will be free play and competitive video games, anime screenings and cosplay, board games and table top games as well as competitions, audience participation events as well as a variety of pop culture vendors, community groups and the artists alley.

What is GAMMA LITE?

GAMMA LITE shows are smaller reginal shows that are hosted over 1 day. Some can become 2 day events depending on venue size and availability.

Where can I buy tickets?

GAMMA Expo tickets are sold through Moshtix and will become available about 2 to 3 months prior to an event. In some case LITE shows may have a shorter time frame. Links to our ticketing will be available on this website.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Short answer YES, but we are unable to guarantee availability on the day and highly recommend pre purchasing tickets before you arrive.

Does GAMMA accept Companion cards?

GAMMA accepts companion cards. Companion card holders must purchase their own ticket and will be offered an additional ticket of comparable access for their carer to assist them during the event. The additional companion ticket will only be issued on the day when the original ticket is shown along with the companion card. Additional tickets only offer access to accompany the card holder and will not include any additional items that specialty tickets may include.

Can children under 12 attend GAMMA for free?

Children under 12 are able to attend most GAMMA shows for free with a full paying adult. Ticketing works on a 1:1 ratio of paying adult to child. Some shows may have family passes available for purchase. Please review your ticket information before purchasing on the Moshtix website.

Can my child under the age of 16 attend the show on their own?

Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children aged 13 or over may attend GAMMA on their own but we strongly recommend that they be accompanied by a parent or guardian where possible. If they do attend on their own, we recommend they have a method of contacting a parent or guardian and that they be aware of where the Information Desk is at the event. This will be a meeting point for anyone who gets lost, separated or feels at any stage uncomfortable and need staff assistance.

If I am sick/double booked/ family emergency, can I get a refund?

Tickets to GAMMA shows are unfortunately non-refundable. Please refer to Moshtix terms and conditions for further ticketing information.
